Cypress Hill Resort is a family oriented resort, offering a variety of ammenities.
Located directly on the resort, we have a refreshing 20x40 saltwater pool, complete with lounge chairs, deck, and safety fence, perfect for cooling off in the summer heat.
We have beautiful cabins, crafted from all natural woods found in south Mississippi, including cherry, cypress, pine, red oak, and pecan. The cabins have been hand crafted by the owner of the resort, a long time Mississippi resident himself. Cabins offer ceramic floors, full kitchen and bath, and washer and dryer. Overlooking the scenic fishing pond and located directly beside the swimming pool, this makes for a relaxing, refreshing stay here at Cypress Hill Resort.
We have a fishing pond that stays fully stocked, as well as an eight acre lake that is located just outside of the residential area. There is a full laundry room provided for residents, as well as seperate men's and women's bathhouses.
On the premises is a general store, offering items such as ice, coolers, cold beverages, charcoal and lighter fluid, and other camping/household items that campers may need during their stay. We also have a propane station on site for your convenience. Our store also offers camper/rv hardware, and firewood with fire rings.
Our resort is located inside the beautiful Desoto National Forrest, which offers a serene experience of south Mississippi. Located just one mile from the resort is a full service canoe rental, running on beautiful Black Creek, providing day and overnight canoe trips, as well as hiking trips through the Desoto. We are conveniently located just 40 miles from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where there are a variety of Casinos and shopping centers along Hwy 90. Lots of new ammenities have been added to our coastal area since the rebuilding from Hurricane Katrina. We are just south of Hattiesburg, MS, which houses the University of Southern Mississippi, and offers a variety of dining and shopping centers. Also located within a short distance of our resort are Pearl River Community College, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, and William Carey University. We are centrally located between Paul B. Johnson State Park, Flint Creek Water Park, and Little Black Creek Water Park.
